CEO & Founder
A serial entrepreneur and privacy advocate, John has earned a tremendous reputation as the CEO of CAS as a trusted adviser and someone who knows how to assemble the right resources to tackle complex business challenges and deliver desired results. John is widely recognized for his creativity, technical expertise and unrelenting commitment to open communication and candor.
Prior to starting CAS Group, John held leadership positions at Lucent, Telecordia, Tachion and Sigma Systems. He is also the co-founder of AntiExploitation (a privacy-centric commerce-free social network), RDPS China (an offshore JV) and Cloudzilla. John is a licensed competitive race car driver and can be seen in many of the images across the CAS Group website. He is also a producer and film-score artist and developed a full-length score for “Behind the Nine”, a 2003 independent film.
Tom has worked alongside John since the company’s inception and carefully managed its rapid growth since 2007. Tom is known as a dynamic, entrepreneurial and engaging leader. He has the rare and incredibly valuable skill of being able to simplify and bring clarity to even the most complex endeavors. He believes strongly in the incredible impact people and organizations have on every business and IT project and is highly regarded for his ability to create the right roles for the right people.
Before CAS Group, Tom worked at Sprint, Shell and Radian International in continually expanding leadership positions. Tom also co-founded and serves as CEO of Cloudzilla, a cloud services company specializing in OpenStack cloud design and cloud application development. Tom holds a U.S. Patent in billing systems conversion. A University of Kansas grad, Tom is also an avid sailor and snow-boarder.
Troy has over 20 years experience in the communications technology industry. He first joined CAS as a founding partner in 2008 providing solutions & leadership for clients such as Cox, Time Warner Cable and US Cellular. In 2015, Troy took the role of CIO at ACN, where he lead all aspects of technology across a portfolio of products including wireless MVNO, high speed data & digital phone. After 6 years at ACN, Troy is back at CAS group ready to to deliver high quality solutions to the best clients on the planet. Prior to CAS, Troy held multiple leadership positions at Sprint over 11 years including large scale initiatives such as the initial launch of Sprint PCS, 3G launch & the integration of Sprint & Nextel.
Justin joined CAS Group in 2008 and is best known for working with our clients to create and execute a sustainable, competitive product portfolio. He has brought incredibly innovative product solutions to market in his almost 20 years of work history which includes leadership positions at both AT&T and Sprint.
Ashim has more than 20 years of work experience and is an expert in both mobile and wireless strategies, including everything from concept development to successful launch and delivery. He has presented innovative concepts at Java One, authored several well received whitepapers and been awarded 3 patents.
With over 20 years of experience in providing IT solutions for major clients, Chon has acquired a unique and highly valued skillset. His proven success in all phases of project development, operations, business transformation, and solution architecture has equipped him to make significant improvements within organizations.
Bill is focused on client delivery and business development efforts. He has close to 30 years experience in the communications industry specializing in Retail, BSS/OSS, System Integration and Application Delivery. He has extensive experience with multiple vendors, including Amdocs, NetCracker, Infosys, and Oracle.
Meggie joined CAS Group in 2009 as the Human Resources Manager. She manages the influx of new employees vital to the rapid growth of the company. She directs and coordinates human resources activities, such as employment, compensation, and benefits, thereby cultivating an exceptional employee-oriented culture.

CAS Group has been fortunate enough to attract a board of advisers and subject matter experts who work with us and our clients on an as-needed basis to tackle very specific opportunities or challenges.
These individuals are thought-leaders and recognized experts from both the telecommunications industry and in areas such as data science, data analytics, cyber-security, block chain, machine learning, artificial intelligence and more.
Todd is a Co-Founder of Astra, a mid-market private equity firm focusing on growth buyouts in the Communications and Technology Services industries. Prior to co-founding Astra, Todd held executive positions at Ericsson, Verisign, and Alien Vault. Todd started his strategy consulting career with Deloitte Consulting and then became CEO of inCode, a boutique strategy consulting company. He has also served on the board of Positioning Universal (IoT device manufacturer), and Global Cloud Fleet (fleet management solutions).
Veenod was the Managing Director and Group CIO of Liberty Global Plc. Liberty Global was the world’s largest international TV and broadband company, serving over 29 million customers with operations in more than 30 countries across Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean. Before Liberty Global, he served as the SVP and CIO of Telenet, the largest Cable telecommunications company in Belgium.Prior to moving to Europe, Veenod was Vice President of Product Technology for Cox Communications Inc.
Kevin was most recently COO of ACN where he re-organized the North American business unit, consolidating the U.S. and Canada operations. While at ACN he was also instrumental in the founding and startup of IDSeal, an innovative company in the identity protection/consumer cyber security industry. Prior to ACN Kevin operationalized the new Commercial Services division of Time Warner Cable (TWC) and was part of the executive leadership team that helped double the business unit revenues from $600M in 2007 to more than $1.2B in 2012.
Dennis is an executive leader focused on large program initiatives in Fortune 100 telecommunications environments. He is a veteran with over 40 years of experience and he has held leadership positions in a variety of roles including planning,operations, customer care, M&A and transformation. Dennis is known as a visionary yet pragmatic leader with strong collaboration skills and he has delivered significant transformational and economic results for CenturyLink, AT&T, Comcast and Charter Communications.
Dave has been in telecom and data operations for over 30 years, including long stints at Sprint and Time Warner Cable. He was most recently SVP – Network Operations with responsibilities including Network Service Assurance, OSS systems development and deployment, network methods and procedures, and operational ownership of the NaviSite managed services subsidiary. He was also the Green and Sustainability officer at TWC. He has degrees from the University of Wisconsin and Marquette University.
Scott has spent the better part of his 30 year career in telecom managing complex business and technical partnerships with both traditional and non-traditional carriers. He was most recently the Vice President of Global Wholesale for Sprint where he managed all partnerships, sales, and operations with MVNOs, Wireline Resellers, and IOT Solution Aggregators both domestically and internationally. Scott has the reputation for building profitable solutions for both sides of the relationship.
